The idea behind the Guilded Edge began when I was consulting for various small businesses and observed that the truly most innovative ideas were ignited during unstructured conversations between people in different fields and different management levels. Between painters and scientists, CFOs and landscapers, they brought to each other alternative perspectives that organically sprouted opportunities and solutions to shared challenges. At the time I was transitioning from a CEO to independent consultant and getting my certification in Permaculture when it struck me that we - just like plants - flourish in “guilds” of varied companions and that a diversity of life springs up along every edge.
Inspired, I decided to optimize that edge and sharpen my own. Now I’m on a mission to grow this network of curious and cool individuals that are connected by shared values & aligned interests, and looking for grounded support to co-create projects that give back a truly living wage while building a much more livable world. We can make it better day by day.
The first phase of development is focused on local projects using natural materials and efficient systems to create healthier and more enjoyable places for us to live and work in. Our time – like water, like energy - is a precious resource, let us use it wisely.
